Billy Harrigan Tighe is a seasoned Broadway actor with a dynamic career spanning the West End, national tours, and Off-Broadway productions. He made his Broadway debut in Pippin and has starred as Elder Price in the West End production of The Book of Mormon. Tighe’s national tours include leading roles such as J.M. Barrie in Finding Neverland, Fiyero in Wicked, and Jean-Michel in La Cage Aux Folles.
His extensive regional theatre work includes starring roles in Cinderella and Cabaret, among others. Alongside his wife, Kristine Reese, Billy co-directs the City Springs Pre-Professional Conservatory, mentoring the next generation of performers. He is also an accomplished soloist, having performed with symphonies across the U.S. and internationally.
This experience makes him a strong voice in teaching musical theatre and inspiring students through courses like All About Musical Theatre.
Kristine Reese is an accomplished Broadway performer with a rich career both on and off the stage. She has appeared in iconic roles such as Nessarose in Wicked and Catherine in Pippin.
Kristine has also been a part of national tours, including Finding Neverland, Mamma Mia!, and Les Misérables. Alongside her husband, Billy Tighe, she co-directs the City Springs Theatre Conservatory, where they mentor young performers, sharing their real-time audition and performance experience to give students a competitive edge in the ever-evolving theatre industry.
This extensive background allows Kristine to provide invaluable insights into mastering triple-threat training—singing, dancing, and acting—while fostering both personal and professional growth in her students.

After you complete all of the chapters in a course, you’ll be able to take a short quiz proving your completion and comprehension of the class lessons and principles.
If you score over an 80%, you’ll receive a certificate from Theatre Ave Academy proving your completion of the course.
Theatre Teachers! It’s important to note that every state has different requirements for approval for PD hours. In some states or districts, you can send in your certificate as proof and they’ll award you hours. In others this class must be approved at the state level. Theatre Ave Academy is in the process of getting all of our courses approved in those states.
